Inside Leveratto: Katherine Wells, Associate
The Leveratto AG team is drawn to people who don’t just meet the standard; they reshape it. Katherine Wells is one of those people. With a sharp design eye and an international background in architecture and interiors, she brings a level of adaptability and depth that resonates across every project she touches.
Originally from Cali, Colombia, Katherine earned her architecture degree before setting her sights on the global stage. Her journey took her through international studios and collaborative design environments. Each one shapes how she thinks, works, and leads today.
“It expanded my understanding of diverse architectural styles, materials, and construction techniques,” she says. “It helped me become more adaptable and respectful of different cultures and values.” That mindset—paired with her ability to dive in, learn fast, and bring nuance to complex design challenges—has been felt throughout the office from day one.
Before joining Leveratto, Katherine cut her teeth in New York City, where the pace was fast and expectations were high. “I quickly realized the importance of diligence and discipline,” she says. “You’re surrounded by talent, and that motivates you to keep leveling up.” It was there she made a defining shift into interior design, working under a well-known designer who recognized that her architectural background was a strength, not a constraint. That turning point opened up a new direction for her career.
Katherine has worked across luxury retail and high-end residential, including projects featured in Architectural Digest. She’s not here to chase trends, she’s here to do the work that lasts. Her process is structured and thoughtful, with a firm grasp on what it takes to deliver consistently at a high level: precision, communication, curiosity, and a serious attention to detail.
She’s the kind of designer who sees the big picture and the smallest pivot that makes it better. Whether it’s a subtle shift in material or rethinking spatial flow, Katherine knows how to make moves that elevate everything around them.
Beyond the screen, Katherine’s drawn to ritual: coffee workshops, yoga, and a good book. She approaches each with the same mindset she brings to a design project: intentionality, balance, and a willingness to refine until it’s just right.
Now, as an Associate at Leveratto AG, Katherine is stepping into projects that challenge convention and prioritize impact. Whether it’s through sustainability, cultural relevance, or simply pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
We’re lucky to have her perspective in the room. She makes the work stronger, and the process sharper.
