Atilio Leveratto Reflects on Stanford’s LBAN Program

This spring, our Founding Principal, Atilio Leveratto, completed the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN) Business Scaling Program at Stanford University. It was an experience that challenged him to look inward, think bigger, and strengthen the values that guide Leveratto Architecture Group every day.

The program’s nine weeks were more than an exercise in leadership training. They were a reminder that true growth comes from pairing knowledge with meaningful action — and from the connections we make along the way.

What stood out most to Atilio was the powerful network of Latino entrepreneurs he joined. “The impact the Latino community brings to the American economy through its entrepreneurial spirit is incredible. The new network of talented individuals is what stays with me most,” he shares.

For Atilio, whose professional mission has always been to achieve the highest standards of excellence, LBAN reinforced an important truth: success depends on taking concrete steps to turn vision into reality. The lessons he brought back from Stanford’s professors and fellow leaders have sparked new ideas for expanding Leveratto AG’s influence beyond luxury retail, and for doing it with discipline and care.

This experience also deepened something more personal. As a proud first-generation Peruvian American, Atilio has long viewed his work as an expression of gratitude for the sacrifices his parents made. LBAN offered a meaningful reminder that honoring where you come from is inseparable from building what comes next.

Throughout the program, one message resonated over and over: build together and create opportunities for each other. It is not about a simple transaction — it’s about fostering a culture where success lifts everyone.

“LBAN instills this idea: do business with each other and create business for each other. It’s not just transactional. It’s about a network of talented people helping each other reach new heights.”

Atilio’s goal now is to turn this inspiration into practical tools that benefit both the team and their clients. Internally, Leveratto AG will focus on strengthening communication and clear action steps to protect the high standard of design and execution the firm is known for. Externally, that means expanding into new sectors with the same attention to detail and creative rigor that defines their luxury retail work.

When asked to sum up the program, Atilio calls it “an empowering and confidence-building experience.” That feeling will carry Leveratto Architecture Group forward — fueled by purpose, a deeper connection to community, and a renewed commitment to excellence.
