Set within Manhattan’s most exclusive retail corridor, the Messika boutique on Madison Avenue marks a sophisticated expansion for the Paris-based fine jewelry brand. And a testament to Leveratto AG’s expertise in bringing luxury retail environments to life.
With only 800 square feet to work with, the project required an architectural team capable of precision, clarity, and seamless coordination. We served as Architect of Record and Project Architect, translating Messika’s global design vision into a fully buildable, code-compliant, and highly functional New York flagship. By developing detailed construction documents and aligning engineering, lighting, and structural requirements, the team ensured every design intention could be executed to its highest standard.
Design + Program
The boutique was conceived to deliver both openness and intimacy within a compact footprint. The LAG team’s spatial planning supports this duality: the sales floor operates as the luminous heart of the store, showcasing Messika’s signature collections, while a dedicated VIP room offers a discreet, comfortable environment for high-jewelry consultations and personalized service.
Every inch of the space reflects our commitment to purposeful design. Circulation is intuitive, sightlines are intentional, and each display is supported by behind-the-scenes architectural coordination that enhances lighting performance, mechanical integration, and overall sensory impact. The result is a store where the brand experience feels effortless.
Leveratto AG’s Role
As Architect of Record, we translated Messika’s design intent into a fully realized architectural execution. The team developed comprehensive construction documents that captured every detail of the brand’s proposed design, ensuring seamless integration with building systems and compliance with New York City code.
LAG also led consultant coordination, working closely with MEP and structural engineers to accommodate complex lighting requirements and mechanical systems within the boutique’s compact dimensions.
