Building with Purpose: Leveratto Architecture Group and the LBAN Program at Stanford
In April, Leveratto Architecture Group embarked on a journey that was both personal and professional. Our Founding Principal, Atilio Leveratto, joined the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN) Business Scaling Program at Stanford University—a nine-week experience designed to sharpen leadership, expand networks, and build stronger, more scalable businesses.
What is LBAN?
The Latino Business Action Network (LBAN) is a nonprofit organization based at Stanford University, committed to strengthening the U.S. economy by empowering Latino entrepreneurs. Through its Business Scaling Program, LBAN provides executive education, strategic insights, and an expansive network to help Latino-owned businesses grow and thrive. With a nationwide network of over 1,200 entrepreneurs across industries, LBAN fosters a community built on education, collaboration, and leadership excellence.
Honoring Heritage
For Atilio, being part of LBAN holds deep personal meaning. As a proud first-generation Peruvian American, his story is shaped by the sacrifices and perseverance of his immigrant parents. Every step he takes professionally is rooted in gratitude for their journey. Being part of LBAN is a way of honoring that legacy—recognizing where he comes from while building toward a future filled with opportunity and impact.
Expanding Beyond Architecture
Professionally, LBAN provided the opportunity to step outside the architecture and design world and connect with talented Latino(a)s leaders across a wide range of industries. It reinforced the importance of a broader professional network—one that values creativity, excellence, and shared cultural pride. The fact that LBAN is tied to Stanford University made the experience even more powerful, combining top-tier education with a mission-driven community.
Shaping the Future of Leveratto Architecture Group
At Leveratto AG, we design with care, precision, and a deep respect for the people and places we serve. LBAN’s focus on education, community, and disciplined growth mirrors our own values. It’s a reminder that success is built not only through creativity but through intentional, committed action.
This experience has given us new tools and a fresh perspective on continuing to scale Leveratto Architecture Group with purpose. We’re more energized than ever to grow our impact, lead with integrity, and continue building spaces that are as thoughtful and enduring as the values we stand for.
We’re grateful to LBAN, Stanford University, and the inspiring network of Latino entrepreneurs who made this experience unforgettable—and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
